Our new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, is committed to reforming our failing social care system.
To design a better system, Baroness Casey, who is leading the Independent Commission on Adult Social Care, has launched a national conversation on the establishment of a National Care Service.
As part of this, I will be holding events across North East Hertfordshire to hear directly from you about how we should fix our social care system.
I will use the feedback from these events produce a report which I will share with Barones Casey and Government Ministers, taking your voice to the very top of Government.
This is a key issue for our country and our communities. The current social care system is failing families and putting unsustainable pressure on our NHS. This has to change so please get involved and be part of shaping a better future for social care in England.
