In Parliament: The qualifying period for indefinite leave to remain

During this Westminster Hall debate on the qualifying period for Indefinite Leave to Remain, I urged the Minister to acknowledge the widespread concern and uncertainty caused by the proposed changes to the BNO visa pathway. With cross-party consensus in the room about the importance of the scheme and the anxiety the consultation has created, I asked the Minister to put on record that he recognises this uncertainty and will keep it front of mind as policy is developed.
