In Parliament: Government Support for Disabled People in Poverty

In this Westminster Hall debate, I condemned the extreme poverty faced by disabled people in England as a national disgrace. I argued that this crisis is a direct result of an economic system designed to benefit the ultra-wealthy, and pointed out that the UK maintains the lowest corporation tax in the G7 while its social safety net continues to deteriorate, pushing hundreds of thousands of disabled people into destitution.
